It's been 8 years since this great boat's been in production and we're ready with the latest technology! We expect to build 12 to 15 boats each year. The Mangrove Boat will be available in 2 models: Center Console and Side Console. The tradition that Mangrove prided itself on from 1985 to 1992 will be incorporated into this new generation flats. In 1985, Mangrove Boats revolutionized the flats boat industry by initiating construction of our boats by using 100% core material, vinylester resin, bi-axial fabric and vacuum bagging techniques. From its inception, Mangrove is designed to be the finest, lightest and most efficient fishing boat conceivable. This is a FLATS FISHING boat. All boats will be turn-key, ready to fish from the day of purchase. The buyer will have several options available for custom applications. These will include trolling motors, bait well, bow tower, engine options and other personal preferences. Along with the new boats, Mangrove will be manufacturing its premier graphite push poles in 19' (special order) and 22' lengths and available in March or April. These were formerly marketed under the name of J & B Push Poles. We will be taking orders shortly. The tradition that Mangrove prided itself on from 1985 to 1992 will be incorporated into this new generation flats. In 1985, Mangrove Boats revolutionized the flats boat industry by initiating construction of our boats by using 100% core material, vinylester resin, bi-axial fabric and vacuum bagging techniques. The new boats are built using S glass, epoxy and corecell materials. We expect the boats to weigh in the mid-600 pound range and draw approximately 6 inches of water. Standard configuration will include a 90 HP Yamaha and we estimate the maximum speed using the new light-weight construction will be 45 mph.
